Boa - Constructor

Boa Contructor has been chosen as project of the month (August 2003) on Sourceforge[www.sourceforge.net].
Boa is also featured in August 2003's distribution of 'Linux' magazine.

Boa-constructor has been a requested package for several Linux distributions and has become extremely popular. It is part of the Gentoo[www.gentoo.org] and Debian[www.debian.org] linux core distributions. Read more in the Boa-Constructor link

Boa-constructor is cross-platform RAD GUI building IDE. It offers visual frame creation and manipulation, an object inspector, many views on the source such as inheritence hierarchies, object methods and properties, html generated from documentation strings, a debugger and integrated help.

It is written in Python and uses the wxPython toolkit which wraps wxWindows.

An extra feature of this IDE is its smooth interface with Zope[www.zope.org].
Zope is a leading open source application server, specializing in content management, portals, and custom applications. Zope enables teams to collaborate in the creation and management of dynamic web-based business applications such as intranets and portals.
Boa adds features such as Zope debugging and editing of your zope scripts and pages from within boa.
